So super excited to share this cool crayon wreath I made for my daughter's teacher. I saw a friend's video on one she made and had to make one of my own. She got the idea from Pinterest (one of my favorite sites!) and I just tried it right away. So simple!
All the supplies were purchased at Big Lots (crayons) and Michael's (everything else). I made a tutorial video on how I made it, and you can watch it below if you'd like. Have a nice Friday!
Super duper cute idea. I love it. I am sure the teacher who receives it will love it as well.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Carmen for your sweet comment :)
DeleteHi Sharon, I love it also. My Granddaughter is going to second years University in Sept after summer of course to be a teacher. How cool is this. She wants to teach lower grades. I think this is the cutest gift possible. Thanks for sharing. I will watch your video.
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon,
ReplyDeleteI watched your demo. Love the wreath. I may do it myself for my Granddaughter for her birthday as she has like 5 years before she is a qualified teacher. So her Birthday is in March. How do you know how to get the exact space between each crayon to complete the circled wreath even? I think you said you have 3 boxes of crayons with how many in each box? I mean if you dont figure it. One could have big uneven gabs.
Hi! I laid out all my crayons the way I wanted before gluing them down. That's the only way to figure out the amount of space in between each one without any big gaps :)
DeleteSo cute! I love this!! I'm your newest follower from the facebook Scrapbook Hoarders group :) Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth! Thanks so much for following my blog. I really appreciate it, and hope you enjoy my future posts :) Have a great weekend!
DeleteHello! Do you happen to remember what size your embroidery hoops were for this?
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I just eyeballed it in relation to the crayon size. I didn't go looking for specific sizes. I just wanted something as a support for the crayons that would keep them in a circular shape. It all doesn't have to be precise, so just pick one thats bigger than the other and you should be ok.
