Life is good!

Sometimes we just need some pattern paper in our lives, right? lol Well I needed it, and  this time I flaunted it! I wanted to share this layout with you I created with the Paper Niche's February Design kit, and yes, both this, and the previous layout came from the same kit. Can you believe it??? Don't you just LOVE the versatility of the kit? So blessed to be able to design with them. I am always really pleased with all the variety of products that come in it every month.

The  picture I chose to scrap this time, is very different from the regular pictures I usually choose to scrap. This picture had very few details in it, and mainly all silhouettes, and solid colors. This is mainly the reason why I chose to work with such "loud" patterns as I did...I thought the picture could handle it lol.

So for this layout I did ALL fussy cut embellishments. I wanted to challenge myself to do something totally different from what I usually do...I laid off all the bulky embellishments, and instead cut my own, and assembled what I can humbly say looks like a pretty unique looking layout.
I used foam adhesive to pop off the page most of the images I fussy cut, and it gives it just the right amount of dimension without the usual bulk you can get from adding things like mulberry flowers, metal pieces, and/or acrylic accents.

I think I stuck to my challenge and won. It's definitely different from what I usually do, but I like it. I guess sometimes different is good lol.
So, it's March 1st and my blog giveaway time has ended. If you followed the rules, stay tuned because I will be posting the winner shortly. I'm also going to be sharing a video of some craft supplies I'm selling as well as giving you some info on more giveaways. I just love doing them. See you then!
