Fun Easter themed/Spring Manicure

Hello everyone!
Last night I was in a "green" mood, and decided to paint my ails like this using two of my new Butter London Polishes. Second pastel look of the season (if you follow me on my Instagram you might have seen my first pastel look which I posted there a few days ago), and I'm pretty happy with the simple, yet fun accent nail on this one. I used Butter London's Bossy Boots, which is the minty pastel color, and Dosh, which is the more lime green glittery color on my accent nail. Simple, fun, and playful, just in time for Easter. I used a dotting tool for the polka dots.
I can't guarantee I'll keep this polish look until Sunday, when Easter actually is, (I seem to be wanting to change polish color almost everyday these days), but if I do change it, you are sure to see it first on my Instagram account, so make sure you follow me there if you are interested in seeing that, and more.
Hope you have fun with your Easter themed nails this week:)

For the love of polish #1

Hello Everyone!
Today, I have a totally different post than I usually do. Today I have a nail polish design post!
Yes, just like with paper crafting, I also have a love of playing with my nails and nail-polish. I have started sharing in the past few weeks on my Instagram account, most times I change my nail-polish, and just yesterday thought it would be fun to share what I do from time to time, on here as well. I hope you all enjoy.
This particular nail design was inspired by something I saw in New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week this year. I made it my own, made a few changes, and I love how it came out. It's my first time trying something like this (the straight lines floating on the main polish color), and the way I decided to go about it was quite time consuming , but for the first try, I think it turned out quite well. It's not quite as perfect as I'd like it, but it does the job. Ha!
I don't know about you, but I'm addicted to nail polish. I've been doing my nails ever since High School, and after taking a LONG hiatus from doing my nails after getting pregnant (almost dying), and having my baby girl, I'm getting back to being excited about having my nails done most of the time.
I hope you enjoy these types of posts here and there, and for more snippets of my everyday, be sure to follow me on Instagram HERE. It's set to private, but ask to follow me and I'll give you access :)
Thanks so much for stopping by. All the information about the polish colors I used are in the picture. Have a great day!

Storytime!

Hi everyone!
Today I'm sharing with you my March project for the Sweet Nothing's Stamp Co. Design Team. For this card I used Storytime Sophie and Lucky. I used the Glitz Cashmere Dame Collection, and my loved Copic markers to color the image.

I love the colors of this collection and I made sure I pulled some of those colors to add to the image. I made this card a bit bigger than most of my cards because I printed the image a bit bigger than usual. I really wanted Sophie and Lucky to stand out. I hope you like this one, and make sure to check out Sweet Nothings Stamp Co. this month for their One Year celebration.
Take care!

Sweetheart Ellie from The paper Nest Dolls

Good day everyone!
Today I wanted to share  a card I created for The Paper Nest Dolls. They are a new company, and the owner, and creator Christine, asked me to play with one of her stamps. Her designs are based on her children, and Sweetheart Ellie was the one I worked with on this card. Doesn't she look sweet? I love her long hair, and her lolly pop just stands out with all the Crystal Stickles I added to it.
I paper pieced her dress, and added some different colored Stickles to the heart accent on it. I colored the rest with my adored Copic markers. The sentiment on the card is by Tiddly Inks, and I thought it just went perfect with this image. The border punch, as well as the punch used to cut out the sentiment are both from Stampin' Up, and the paper collection is the This and That from Echo Park. I added a bit of different colored bling, just to keep on with the whimsical candy theme, and kept the card relatively simple to have the image as the main focus.
You can check out The Paper Nest Dolls' store HERE to get some of their adorable images.
Thanks Christine for the opportunity, and thanks everyone for stopping by the blog today. I hope you have a great weekend!
