I know...I know...

I haven't blogged in FOREVER...If anybody is still out there, please, PLEASE let me know LOL. I have been completely overwhelmed with life and many other things, and have not been able to keep up this blog. For that, I'm sorry.

The thought of canceling this whole blog has crossed my mind in several occasions, but for some unknown reason I have not gone through with it...yet..... I've always thought, if you can't do it right, don't do it at all...this being the reason why I didn't try posting apologies, or any excuses for my absence at any point in between my last post and this one....I knew, and I still know I would not be able to dedicate time to keeping this updated... I'm still pondering the idea of canceling this, and maybe starting it once things calm down a bit...it's just a matter of time until I come to a decision.

The reason why I chose to post tonight is because Christmas is around the corner, and I wanted to wish each and every one of my readers (if they still exist LOL) a very merry Christmas, and a very happy new year. I also wanted to post some pictures of different things I never got around to posting. If and when I decide to close this blog, I will let you know. If not, I might make a come back and you'll know that too.
All I can for sure say for now is, stay tuned :o)

Thanks again for stopping by and enjoy the pictures:

First Wall Project

Hi everyone!
I wanted to share with you the first project I made with my daughter's picture on it. I had a lot of fun making it and I think it came out well.
I made the satin flowers myself, as well as the stick pin you see here.
It's supposed to hang on the wall and it's for my mother. She moved out of state some months ago and hasn't see her since she left. I hope she likes it.
If you want to see more details of what I did and use to create it please watch the video below:

Emboss Resist Card

Yes, I have been a bad blogger and not updated for almost a month! Sorry guys, but life gets in the way, and sometimes it's pretty hard to keep up with everything I want to do.

Today I want to share a card I made using the Emboss Resist Technique. It's a very fun and easy technique to do and I had a great time using my distress inks to color the image.

I was happy because I finally used some corrugated card stock that I had been hoarding for ages. The pictures don't do this card justice really. I loved the way it came out.
For more info on what products I used and what I did to create this card, please watch the video below:

Thanks so much for stopping by, and don't forget to leave a comment. I LOVE reading them!

Some tags and a Card

So I have been sick lately and I've forgotten to share some things I've made. The following is a tag I made for my friend Donna. It was included in a package of scrapbooking goodies I sent her some weeks back. I used one of my favorite Hero Arts Clear Stamp sets that has the best butterfly images I've seen so far. I just love the butterflies on that set.I used magical micas from Lindy's Stamp Gang to color in the butterfly images, and distress ink as well as some Glimmer Mist, and Startdust stains for the background.
This next card I made for my friend Dale. She's a sweetheart. I used the stamp resist technique, using, again, one Hero Art stamp. This time it was a wood mounted rubber stamp. Did I tell you I absolutely LOVE Hero Arts? I you don't know it by know, let me tell you, I DO!

This next tag I made for my friend Kat from Canada. She is going through a lot lately (she has leukemia), and I sent her a few goodies together with this tag to make her smile. I am so happy to say that FINALLY they've found a match for her to be able to get a bone marrow transplant soon, and we are all so excited for the new possibilities this may offer to her.
I used another wood mounted rubber stamp made by guess who? Yep, Hero Arts! I love this Dogwood stamp. I used Magical Micas to color in the images and some distress ink to do the background. The charm, I bought at Michael's some time ago.
This final tag, I made for my friend Krista from Ohio. She's super funny and just had a pacemaker "installed". The girl is a trooper. A week after the surgery she went to an American Idol concert!
I used a doily which I distressed with distress inks, some Websters Pages trim, Prima bling, and another butterfly from my favorite Hero Arts Clear Stamp set :o)
The charm is another one I bought from Michael's and it hangs from a Making Memories garment pin.
I hope you enjoyed these projects, and as always, thank you in advance for all your sweet comments. Remember to click on "follow" button at the top right of this blog to follow my creations. Hope you have a great rest of the weekend!

Pregnancy Mini

I shared this mini with my YouTube buddies, but I don't think I ever shared some pictures of it here on my blog. Oh, and now that I say pictures, I wanted to say something. Posts on this blog will ALWAYS have lots and lots of pictures. I hope you don't mind. I'm a self-declared "mama-razzi" and pictures are my thing. I love taking pictures, and when I share my projects, I really like to show lots of detail and angles...I guess it's because that's what I like looking at on other people blogs :)
Ok, so back to my pregnancy mini :)
I got some inspiration from the lovely Vanessa. She made THIS cute mini for our friend Damaris, and I just loved the colors and whole concept. So, I bought the papers, got the acrylic album and made it my own. It really doesn't look anything like what she did, but I guess you can tell I got the inspiration from her because I used the same circle acrylic album, and same paper collection :)
So thanks Vanessa for the inspiration girl. You rock :)
Here are some pictures of what I made (I didn't include pictures of all the pages---but you can see all the pages on the videos at the end of this post).
I hung a pink crystal charm and a key on the binding of the book, together with ribbons and fibers...
I did some techniques on all elements of the cover of the mini album...
The following are some of the inside pages...
To see the rest of the pages in the mini, and learn more about the techniques and products I used in the making of this mini album, please watch the videos below. Enjoy!

A great catch...

I wanted to share with you today I card I made for my husband's birthday this year. He loves to fish and I loved this Greeting Farm Stamp as soon as I saw it, and I just could not wait to use it on a project.
I used Copic Markers to color the image (they can be a little pricey, but are really worth the money), distress inks to stipple the background, K and Co. Papers, and Prima flowers and leaves. I also incorporated a Basic Grey brad for the center of my flower and my new Martha Stewart deep edge punch. I LOVE that punch!
I will be doing a video real soon showing the background technique I used for this image. I just have to figure out when I'll have the free time! I'm a very busy girl these days. As soon as I do, I will let you guys know though :)
Hope everyone is having a great summer!

Eiffel Tower Embellishment Tutorial

Hi everybody!
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. For those of you out of the country, yesterday we celebrated the independence of out country: 4th of July! I had a semi terrible weekend because I wanted to craft all the time, but could not do anything at all. Nothing! However, yesterday, we attended a 4th of July BBQ and my little Emily was such a cutie! I just can't wait to make a mini or some project with some of her pictures. If she would let me! LOL

Anyways, let's get down to business. Here's the video I promised showing you how to make the Eiffel Tower of the tag I created for the June swap I was involved in. Enjoy!

June Tag Swap

I was able to participate in the JUNE tag swap hosted by Arlene on mybutterflykisses12 (YouTube), And here is what I created for the swap:The theme was Postcards from Paris, and the challenges were Vintage or Collage, or you could incorporate both. This is the first tag swap I have ever participated in, and I had lots of fun. Below see the details of the tag.

This next picture was the back of the tag.
For more information of what products and techniques I used, please watch the video below:
