Weekend and Minis

Hello there!
I had a fabulous weekend, except for Sunday when I was not feeling well all day. I was able to go to a crop on Saturday and had a fantastic time with a bunch of crafty ladies...and you know what the funniest part was? We all met on YouTube! You could say we were a crafty bunch brought together by paper!
We had a fantastic time, and shared some great moments. Our host Marlene went above and beyond, making all of us feel welcome, and all the details she had prepared for the day were beautiful. All the gals were super nice too! Some of the ladies' projects were displayed for inspiration throughout the day, and boy were they nice! I'd like to share a few with you:

It's amazing how technology and the internet gets people connected! We definitely plan on doing these kinds of get togethers more often. I can't wait for the next one!

Today I also wanted to share two mini albums I just completed. I had a lot of fun working on these, and could not make just one. I made one for myself, and one for a friend. They are not identical, but very similar, since I used the same paper collection, as well as most of the same embellishments. There are things that are exactly the same, but others that are completely different. Take a look:
This first mini is the one I made for myself...
This next one is the one I made for my friend...
You can click HERE to watch the video, showing you the albums in detail, all the pages, as well as all the information on what products and techniques I used.
Again I thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate every comment that I receive, and hope you stay tuned, because remember, this week I'm sharing some exciting news!
Hope you have a great day!

  1. Hi Ms. Sharon, thank you so much for coming and I'm glad you had a good time. I'm so loving your minies, they are gorgeous. I love how the lace goes with the little bit of blue in the paper collection. Gorgeous.

  2. Glad you had fun!! I wish I could find some crafty people in my far no such luck..all of them are about 2/3 hours from me...errr. Beautiful mini you completed!!!

  3. Yippie! I'm that friend! That second mini is in my hot little hands. I just love everything about it. Thanks so much Sharon. JIL

  4. Hi Sharon. I just saw your video on the Mini albums and had to subscribe to you on both sites! Your work is beautiful.

I was just wondering....What Sizzix die die you use for these albums?

  5. Love your minis and the video. I'll be checking out more of your vids on YouTube. May I ask where you got the beautiful rose lace on the covers?

  6. Thanks so much ladies!
The Sizzix XL die is called Card, Ornate Scallop.
The rose trim on the front I got from Hobby Lobby.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment. I appreciate it so much!
