So hello there!
I've gotten quite good at the disappearing act, haven't I? I'm so sorry, but if you follow me on any of my social media(see all links on the top right of this site if you are interested in following me), you might have a better grasp at what's going on in my world.
It's been quite the challenge, ever since I moved, to get back in the groove of things. Sometimes I feel like I'm almost there, and then bam, something else happens that stops me from doing what I want to do.
There have been a ton of changes in the last four or five months of my life, and well, my creativity and my time to create has suffered a lot from it. I'm sure all you guys that follow me here, or on my YouTube Channel have noticed.
I't's been quite the adventure to get my craft room into working order. I've revealed little snippets of it on my Instagram account (see link on the top right of this page), yet I'm not happy at all with how it's coming out. For a slight second I was, and then all of a sudden I hated it all......... So much so, that I'm thinking of getting the things out of the room and starting over again! Sounds crazy huh? But things are just not working, and not looking how I want them too, so I'm headed to Ikea once again to try to figure something out LOL. Yes, like my husband says, I have a particular way of wanting to store certain things, and well, I might be a little obsessive on placement, balance and look...hahaha as I type this I can't stop laughing because I agree with him. There are some things that are just silly that get me all bent out of shape, and block me form functioning efficiently. Sad, but true. Good thing is, eventually I find my way, and all goes back to normal.
It's not usual of me to get all personal on here, but I had some time to write, and yes, I do have some particularities too myself that make me who I am......I just can't get over how difficult all this change has been for me in the last few months. I find myself obsessing over little things that never used to matter, and I see the perfectionist in me trying so hard to make things just how I want. It's all been reflecting on this new craft room redo.....Thank God for may loving and patient husband. He loves me so, and just keeps saying, do what makes you happy, I'll support you. Gotta love him!
Anyways, things have not been easy for me, yet I have lots of plans, lots of things I want to do. I want to thank all of you that have hung in there, and my growing list of subscribers, whom even though I've not made as many videos, keep watching, keep commenting, and keep encouraging me everyday.
I kind of like writing just because....I might just do that a little bit more often. Hope you don't mind.
Until next time friends!

March already?!?!
Hi everyone, and happy March! It is amazing how this year seems to just be flying by! It seems to me like just a few days ago it was New Year's Day, and all of a sudden we jumped right into March! Maybe I feel like this because February was a super short month, but I just can't grasp that we are in March already! Crazy!!!
And here is the card I made. I used Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powder in Magic Moon Pearls, and Flat Fabios in the colors Hibiscus Rose and Frenchy's Pink Pouf, as well as a Starburst in the color Afternoon Delight Denim. Hope you join the challenge this month!
Today I come to share with you the inspiration card I made for the Lindy's Stamp Gang March 2014 Color Challenge. I have a start to finish quick video on my YouTube Channel, and I hope you take a look at how I achieved the distressed embossed look using Lindy's embossing powder and Sprays. here's the color palette inspiration for this month:

"You are my happiness" Burlap Panel Tutorial
Hello again!
Little by little things are falling into place, and today I finally get to share with you a project I created for Lindy's Stamp Gang, and the Winter CHA 2014 show. I enjoyed changing up a bit the editing style of the video, and I'd love to hear your feedback…I'm trying out voice over for the first time, and even though it was quite hard to get a little bit of peace and quiet over here to record it (and to get the volume of my voice working ok---still needs more work I think), it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. It's a start to finish tutorial, where I mainly used the Drink Me Silly Starburst Spray Set from Lindy's.
The set has a very nice selection of colors that include: My Mojito Green, A Bit o'Bubbly, Blue Hawaiian Blue, Fuzzy Navel Peach and Cosmopolitan Pink. It is FANTASTIC for those of you who love making shabby chic projects, as the tones are soft and beautiful. I also used my favorite Magic Moon Pearls embossing powder from Lindy's. I just LOVE the pearlescent look it gives anything you use it on! I'm sure you must know that already if you've been following me for a while, ha!
Here's a start to finish tutorial on this project which I hope you enjoy, and below that, some pictures of the finished project.

It's February!!!! Getting back to normalcy...
Hi everyone,
I'm back today! It's been quite a while since I've been able to come sit down, and write a little. As you might have imagined, and seen (if you follow me on Instagram), I've been quite busy with the move to my new house, and everything that comes along with that. I still---believe it out not---- have a lot of "settling"to do, because not only it was a big move, but also, right when I moved, I injured myself and was out of commission for about three weeks, or maybe a bit more than that. I could not move too much or do much of anything for quite some time (the agony!).
I'm happy to say that I'm all healed up, and little by little everything seems to be starting to feel normal again. More on all of that, on a later post.
Today I'm sharing with you my inspiration piece for this month's Lindy's Stamp Gang Color Challenge.
Here is February's Color Palette:
And here's what I made:
I used Starburst Stains in the colors Shabby Turbine Teal, and Steampunk Sepia, as well as a Flat Fabio in the color Hibiscus Rose. Take a look HERE to see what all the other designers created for your inspiration, and don't forget to join in the fun! You have the whole month of February to give this color challenge a try. Also, to make it easier for you, Lindy's Stamp Gang has put out a Limited Edition Set of colors, just in case you feel, you need a little help picking out what colors to use for the challenge. You can pick up any of the limited sets available for this month only HERE, HERE and HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I have SO MUCH more to share with you, but that will have to wait until next time.
Take care!

The holidays are truly here, and I'm still rushing to buy all the presents I need to get. Usually by this time everything is all wrapped and ready to go, but with all this moving situation, unpacking has taken over my life! Just today I unpacked about 9-10 jumbo sized boxes! Little by little, my garages are looking more and more de-cluttered. Lots of work still to be done, but I'm happy it's getting done.
Hope everyone has a happy and safe Christmas Eve and Day!
Merry Christmas!

Winter Card- Joy
Hello everyone!
Winter is finally here, and today I wanted to share with you a card perfect for this time of the year. I used several Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powders on top of the wood veneers I used and I loved the look.
The wood veneer trees I got at my local Michael's, and I embossed them using Magic Moon Pearls embossing powder. Love the pearlescent finish with the peak of the wood tone in the background. The snowflakes are Maya Road wood veneers, that I embossed using Madonna Robe Blue Gold embossing powder. I also embossed a tiny bird you can see peeking on top of the white Prima resin birdhouse. It is a Studio Calico wood veneer that I embossed using Bougainvillea Red Teal embossing powder, so pretty!
I used 7 Dots Studio Paper for the background, a doily, and a sticker word from Pebbles ink. Super dimensional card, I hoped you liked it!
Have a great day!!!
