Green giant!

Hello everyone!
I come today with a card for Scrap Happy Ohio. I've been having a lot of fun working with their products, and this card is no exception.

I love how crisp their dies cut, no mater how intricate they are. Their stamps are super adorable as well. This little guy was very fun to color using my Copic Markers. I particularly like that this image comes with some sentiments stamps as well, which are perfect for it, so no need for me to go hunting for other stamp sets to finish off the card. One extra step I save, which saves me, because believe it or not, sometimes I get stuck on what  sentiment to add on my cards, and can spend quite a while trying to figure that out.
I used papers from the Lost and Found "Rosy" collection, as well as Crate Paper's Random collection. I also used a Fiscars border punch for the yellow border on the paper, as well as black pearls and black satin Ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed today's project, and head on over to Scrap Happy Ohio's shop, and check out all they have to offer. Until next time!

I'd rather do nothing....

Hello everyone. Happy Monday! I hope you are all doing well. I have been really sick for like a week now, and I'm still not 100%, but I wanted to share with you this card I made using scraps of white paper, and my Lindy's Stamp Gang Products.
I don't know about you, but I keep scraps of everything, thinking I'll use them for something later....what ends up happening is my pile of scraps keeps growing, and I rarely end up using it all. Well, I wanted to get rid of a few scraps I had laying around here, and came up with this.

For this card I used a few different Starburst Sprays (Bayou Boogie Gold, Green with Envy Green, Midnight Rendezvous RavenA Bit O' Bubbly), as well as an embossing powder (King Midas Gold). I embossed both birds on the card as well as some of the round tiles on the bottom of the card. I have a step by step tutorial on hoe I did this on video, and you can check it out by clicking HERE.
I hope you enjoyed this card and were inspired. Have a great week!

I'm Bananas for you!

Hey everyone!
I'm back again with another Valentine's Day card. I used a few of Scrap Happy Ohio's stamps and dies to make it, and it turned out adorable, don't you think? Clean, simple and to the point, right?
I love how crisp the die cut and how adorable the monkey image is. I can see using this little guy for an anniversary card, and even a friendship card.
I colored the cute image with my Copics, and highlighted some areas using my white poster paint pen by Sharpie. I totally recommend you checking out Scrap Happy Ohio's online store because they have a nice variety of stamps, dies, and more products, perfect for your crafting needs.
I hope you enjoyed today's card, and that your Valentine's Day is a great one. See you back on the blog soon with  more projects!

Gift Giving Sophie

Hi everyone! Today I come with my first share for 2013 with Sweet Nothings Stamp Co.  I made a sweet birthday card using Gift Giving Sophie from the December release. She is perfect for holiday projects, but I also thought we could definitely use her for birthday cards, and I did.
I used My Mind's Eye Lavender Collection from their Sweetest Things Line. I love the colors and patterns on that line.
Sophie is so stylish with her Ugg boots and long sweater, perfect for the winter time. I love that she carries lots of gifts too, I mean who doesn't like gifts? I sure do!
I hope you were able to see Sophie in a new way through my share today, and that you were inspired.
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!

Happy New year!

Happy New Year everybody!
It's taken me quite a while to get back here and post, but today is a fantastic start to the New Year Blogging. My beautiful princess has been keeping me very busy, and today she's officially a big girl at three years old. Seems like it was only yesterday when she was in my belly!

It's been quite a challenging few months, but we have managed to get through them, and succeed at reaching our immediate goals. We are so blessed to have this ray of sunshine in our lives, and we couldn't have asked for a more happy, loving, smart, and genuinely sweet girl. She has the best personality, and can be quite the character at times. She makes us laugh, and always keeps us on our toes.
I look forward to seeing her grow up, and pray that she'll be an example for others to follow.
God bless you my child. I love YOU most!

Custom Ornaments 2012

Hello friends!
Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season. This time around I was able to make some custom glass ornaments. I had purchased the plain glass ornaments last year from my local Michael's, but I never got the chance to alter any until now.
These are my fist try at these, an I have to say, they look pretty neat hanging on the tree. They are simple to make and would make a great hostess gift too.
I have more details on these on THIS video on my YouTube channel, don't forget to check it out. I've also ventured into the world of Instagram, so if you are on it and want to follow me and see snippets of my days you can click HERE and follow.
Like always, I want to say thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate all of you who do, and stick with me, even at the times when I'm not posting continuously. You guys ROCK!!!
