So I have been sick lately and I've forgotten to share some things I've made. The following is a tag I made for my friend Donna. It was included in a package of scrapbooking goodies I sent her some weeks back. I used one of my favorite Hero Arts Clear Stamp sets that has the best butterfly images I've seen so far. I just love the butterflies on that set.I used magical micas from Lindy's Stamp Gang to color in the butterfly images, and distress ink as well as some Glimmer Mist, and Startdust stains for the background.
This next card I made for my friend Dale. She's a sweetheart. I used the stamp resist technique, using, again, one Hero Art stamp. This time it was a wood mounted rubber stamp. Did I tell you I absolutely LOVE Hero Arts? I you don't know it by know, let me tell you, I DO!
This next tag I made for my friend Kat from Canada. She is going through a lot lately (she has leukemia), and I sent her a few goodies together with this tag to make her smile. I am so happy to say that FINALLY they've found a match for her to be able to get a bone marrow transplant soon, and we are all so excited for the new possibilities this may offer to her.
I used another wood mounted rubber stamp made by guess who? Yep, Hero Arts! I love this Dogwood stamp. I used Magical Micas to color in the images and some distress ink to do the background. The charm, I bought at Michael's some time ago.
This final tag, I made for my friend Krista from Ohio. She's super funny and just had a pacemaker "installed". The girl is a trooper. A week after the surgery she went to an American Idol concert!
I used a doily which I distressed with distress inks, some Websters Pages trim, Prima bling, and another butterfly from my favorite Hero Arts Clear Stamp set :o)
The charm is another one I bought from Michael's and it hangs from a Making Memories garment pin.
I hope you enjoyed these projects, and as always, thank you in advance for all your sweet comments. Remember to click on "follow" button at the top right of this blog to follow my creations. Hope you have a great rest of the weekend!

Pregnancy Mini
I shared this mini with my YouTube buddies, but I don't think I ever shared some pictures of it here on my blog. Oh, and now that I say pictures, I wanted to say something. Posts on this blog will ALWAYS have lots and lots of pictures. I hope you don't mind. I'm a self-declared "mama-razzi" and pictures are my thing. I love taking pictures, and when I share my projects, I really like to show lots of detail and angles...I guess it's because that's what I like looking at on other people blogs :)
Ok, so back to my pregnancy mini :)
I got some inspiration from the lovely Vanessa. She made THIS cute mini for our friend Damaris, and I just loved the colors and whole concept. So, I bought the papers, got the acrylic album and made it my own. It really doesn't look anything like what she did, but I guess you can tell I got the inspiration from her because I used the same circle acrylic album, and same paper collection :)
So thanks Vanessa for the inspiration girl. You rock :)
Here are some pictures of what I made (I didn't include pictures of all the pages---but you can see all the pages on the videos at the end of this post).
I did some techniques on all elements of the cover of the mini album...
The following are some of the inside pages...
To see the rest of the pages in the mini, and learn more about the techniques and products I used in the making of this mini album, please watch the videos below. Enjoy!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate all your comments!
